Define the preparation and presentation for the charter spectrum.

Stop Charter Spectrum

Preparation for charter spectrum :

If you believe you will be helpful as they prepare, you know to embark on this enormous. The build that you share that information with us so that they know this is a map of the counties in which they have art off awards; you know it’s not the most incredible map. But they can do what they’ve been doing: share a better map on a county level when they schedule these meetings. So Stop Charter Spectrum  that you know county by you’re aware of where their build is, so you share this with you you find it more helpful than the other maps if you shared with you earlier. So this is art-off, but you wanted to discuss other partner opportunities. Because as you stated earlier, there’s a lot of funding out there, and while they have a complete team.

While they’ve now created there, that’s the team to concentrate on our art off-build commitment; they still have their existing construction team. That’s looking for partnership opportunities with all of you outside our dock, so there are federal funding opportunities through the stop charter spectrum broadband Grants. In the tribal broadband connectivity program, you mentioned state opportunities; the governor just announced the Wisconsin public service commission American rescue plan broadband grant access grants of 100 million dollars.

Stop Charter Spectrum

Of course, you know it is expected that the next budget will have funding over the next two years again to make sure that rule you know. That thy expand broadband and everyone who wants broadband in Wisconsin.

Presentation for charter spectrum :

If you have broadband access, there are also local funding opportunities or for us to partner if you know the municipality or the county has received funding. They want to put it towards broadband expansion. Those are conversations they want to have with you, and so you know, towards the end or end of this stop charter spectrum presentation, feel free to reach out to any of us from a charter. But you don’t. Do you have anything to add as it relates to this slide? No, thank you, Celeste, you covered it pretty well; Do you mean you think the ntia broadband grants that number; there are 288 million dollars across the country.

If you think what they’re focusing on is projects that are at least five million dollars minimum in scope up to 30 million uh the tribal for the broadband program for those of you who have tribes in your counties. That’s a one-billion-dollar program if you’ve got tribes in your counties. Suppose you think about what happened last night with the fight joint finance committee putting 129 million dollars into the state budget. We’ll see what happens with the state budget and how that process plays out, but you think at least they know they’re, as Celeste said, there will be other rounds, and then there is local they continue to local municipalities.

The counties about, you know, extra money, like in Michigan left mentioned. If you have Michigan, there was one county that we put in an RFP to serve all the unversed areas of that county; the arc of money is very restrictive. The ARPA money can only go to areas that have that do not that have anything more extraordinary than 25 by three, so if you’ve got a hundred do service, you’re not eligible for ARPA funding. So the harp of funding can only go to areas with 25 by three or less, so if those areas are in your county.
